How we work

Ledger Process

From first enquiry to a signed portfolio snapshot — the quiet steps behind an offline wallet tracker session.

  1. Enquiry. You share a wallet count, preferred week, and whether counsel or family will attend. We send a written estimate — no obligation.
  2. Preparation pack. After a deposit, you receive a short questionnaire for labels, device types, and any prior ledger pages (redacted). We never ask for seeds.
  3. Room setup. On the day, we prepare the table, blank ledger sheets, and a clear area for your devices. You remain within arm’s reach of every item.
  4. Observed count. You unlock each cold wallet. We record the balance, label, and observation method. Unclear readings are marked, not guessed.
  5. Signing and copies. You review the sheet aloud. Both parties initial each page. You leave with paper copies and, if you brought media, a sealed PDF.
  6. Filing advice. We suggest a simple binder order and a reminder window for the next count — especially useful before travel or family meetings.

What we will not do during the process

We will not store your devices overnight, photograph seed cards, or “help” by entering PINs. If a device cannot be read safely, we stop that line and schedule a follow-up rather than force a number onto the ledger.

Request a snapshot session or review session types if you are still choosing between a single count and a handover ledger.
